5 reasons your brows aren’t growing

Here’s a list of all the reasons your brows may not be growing and how to fix it!  In some cases, your follicles are asleep and just need some TLC to wake up and in others cases, a bit more attention is necessary.

Let’s start with the obvious...

1) Overdoing it:  If we could erase the 90s brow trend of tweezing and waxing until our brows were pencil-thin, we would. Over-grooming was the cause of damage to hair follicles and many of us have yet to (or may not be able to) recover.

What to do about it: Still taking matters into your own hands? Toss the tweezers, enlist a brow artist for grooming no sooner than 4 weeks at a time and begin using Brow Zhuzh Eyebrow Conditioning Treatment twice daily to restore your brows to a healthier, fuller state.

2) Stress + Hormones: Changes in stress and anxiety levels can contribute to reduced oxygen to the hair follicles and unstable hormone levels that can contribute to eyebrow hair loss.  Thyroid issues and post-pregnancy hormones can also cause brow hair loss.

What to do about it: Woosah! Identifying and reducing exposure to triggers, meditation and therapy all work wonders for reducing anxiety and stress levels. A visit to the doctor might also be in order.  While you’re working on that, begin using Brow Zhuzh to preserve what you do have and begin creating a healthy environment for brow regrowth.

3) Diet/Nutrient deficiency: Our bodies need certain nutrients to function properly and yes, that includes hair growth.  Deficiency in vitamins B, C, D, zinc and Iron are common culprits in brow hair loss and regrowth.

What to do about it: Check with your doctor to be sure of which you may need more of, eat better, take supplements and grab a tube of Brow Zhuzh Eyebrow Conditioning Treatment.

4) Dry Skin: Dry skin and dead skin build up prevent oxygen from flowing to your brow hair follicles, stunting growth/regrowth and contributing to hair loss.

What to do about it: Include your brows in your skin care routine. Gently exfoliate your brow 3 times a week to get rid of dead skin and product build-up. Then make sure your brows are moisturized. Brow Zhuzh is full of nourishing and moisturizing ingredients to maximize your brow’s growth potential.

5) You aren’t consistent: Consistency is key to anything you desire to see results in. Brow Zhuzh Beauty 2-in-1 Eyebrow Conditioning Treatment is the perfect serum to incorporate into your daily skin routine. Apply 2x daily on clean skin and witness results in as little as 6 weeks!
